What are you guilty of?

I time my passport, driving licence, and any government photos to coincide with Movember.

What was your last brush with danger?

Almost forgetting to submit this questionnaire in time!

Your last brush with greatness?

Getting featured in FRAMED.

Your worst character fault?

I don’t know when to stop talking.

Your most shining quality?

I know when to start talking

You’re on the run from the law, where are you headed?

The nunnery next door to FS MTL. Nuclear fallout shelter. Zombie apocalypse fortress. This place has a 20ft solid stone walled perimeter with cats and presumably wine inside.

Who’s your partner-in-crime?

Probably Gab Jalbert, in that our ability to rock climb can be considered criminally bad. We work together in production and started climbing at the gym across the road from the studio together regularly since the start of the pandemic, and in two years we’ve got breathtakingly good at falling.

Fantasy cellmate?

The main character from Prison Break, Shawshank Redemption or The Great Escape.

Your greatest achievement?

When I first moved to Canada, I fixed/built a car over many weekends out of scrap parts with a friend, then drove it alone from Montreal to the arctic circle in the Yukon during the winter, and back again, without breaking down (mechanically or mentally).

Most valuable skill?

Gifs.

Go on, say something bragging:

The last thing Framestore needs is for me to brag anymore than I already do. I did make a great coffee this morning though.

Name your vice/pet peeve?

My vice is definitely specialty coffee equipment.

Your career highlight to date:

Working on Paddington 2! Now I think about it, also my first VFX project, so not sure what that means for my career??

Give us a desk tour!

At the beginning of the pandemic I was told I needed to get an adapter to be able to plug my monitor into my laptop. It’s still on my to do list. On the other hand, I now have a beautifully decorated monitor.

What do you need to work, on the daily?

Coffee. I use a ceramic hario v60, I prefer eska water (85 ppm minerals) and recently experimented with the 4:6 brewing method. Shout out to my fellow coffee nerds.

Photography.

When you develop a photo for the first time in the dark room and see it appear in the chemical bath.
