[FRAMED]: Aegean Cordell, Production Coordinator, MTL
[FRAMED] exists to shine light on Framestore’s most fascinating cast of characters: its people. Presented with a probing list of questions and a demandingly short deadline, this feature puts the hopes, dreams, and desktops of our MVPs on the digital wall, for all to see. Welcome to [FRAMED].
What are you guilty of?
Singing during work.
What was your last brush with danger?
Hmm I too, like to live dangerously…maybe when my plane was struck by lightning?
Your last brush with greatness?
Being back home with my family over the holidays!
Your worst character fault?
Impatience is my virtue.
If you had taken a different path, what would you be doing now?
Anthropology or Musical Theatre.
You’re on the run from the law, where are you headed?
Small hometown in New Hampshire, they would get lost looking for me!
Who’s your partner-in-crime?
My kitty, Clarisse!
What’s your favourite movie/TV show and why?
ANY Christopher Guest film, and Arrested Development for TV.
Your greatest achievement?
Being a part of my wonderful family!
Most valuable skill?
Weird ability to retain musical lyrics instead of other important information.
Go on, say something bragging:
No matter what, I am always last place in Mario Kart.
Name your vice/pet peeve?
People chatting over each other in a meeting.
The DREAM project would entail:
I would love to work on a musical adaptation or a period piece.
Your career highlight to date:
Super proud to have worked on 1917 from beginning to end, with such a talented crew!
This week I learnt that:
I am incredibly unskilled in latte art.
What’s your current view?
One of three cats, constantly.
Give us a desk tour!
Some sort of sloth-novelty mug, gum, old school notebook and pen, and my production computer set up — all very interesting.
What do you need to work, on the daily?
Framestore is, to you, in three words:
Opportunity, growth, bagels.
Best thing about your work environment?
Collaboration and team spirit in the office.
Framestore is great at:
Crafting teams that make each project not only an experience for growth, but giving you some of your greatest friends as well!
Fictional character you’d like to hang with?
Happiness looks like:
Walks through Jeanne-Mance with my partner, of course accompanied by iced coffee.
If not here, then where?
What do you think of too often?
And not enough?
Couldn’t live without:
Partner, Pets, Pasta-3 p’s of my life!
If you ruled the world:
The world is too stressful right now, I don’t want to be responsible for any of it! Just give me a little bakery and we’ll start with seeing if I can manage that.
Aegean Cordell, you’ve been [FRAMED].
