[FRAMED] exists to shine light on Framestore’s most fascinating cast of characters: its people. Presented with a probing list of questions and a demandingly short deadline, this feature puts the hopes, dreams, and desktops of our MVPs on the digital wall, for all to see. Welcome to [FRAMED].

Not taking lights out with me on an evening bike ride and cycling down a trail in the pitch black.

Your last brush with greatness?

I’m still waiting for it…

Your worst character fault?

A dry sense of humour.

A dry sense of humour.

You’re on the run from the law, where are you headed?

A long drive to Yellowknife.

Doc Brown.

Your greatest achievement?

It’s a toss up between suffering through university and coming out with a decent grade and then helping to bring two fabulous kids into the world.

Most valuable skill?

Singing any song in the style of David Bowie.

Go on, say something bragging:

Sorry… I can’t bring myself to do it.

Name your vice/pet peeve?

People that make the “hmmm” noise when they eat.

The DREAM project would entail:

Working in the music industry.

Your career highlight to date:

Being able to work in the same room with a couple of cool directors over the years.

This week I learnt that:

I can’t rock climb yet.

What’s your current view?

A home office with my kids paintings on the wall.

Give us a desk tour!

The usual set up, laptop, monitors and a lego Delorean.

Framestore is, to you, in three words:

Good friends, home and talent.

Being able to work and see my family at the drop of a hat.

Framestore is great at:

Innovation and creativity.

Favourite artform?

Music!

Favourite image?

David Bowie’s Heroes album cover.

Fictional character you’d like to hang with?

Doc Brown and Marty McFly.

Happiness looks like:

Family.

If not here, then where?

The UK, probably Bristol… somewhere by the water.

What do you think of too often?

Everything all at once.

Couldn’t live without:

My wife!

If you ruled the world:

I’d bring back the 80’s.

Dan Booty, you’ve been [FRAMED].
