[FRAMED]: Harsh Patel, Tracker, MUM
[FRAMED] exists to shine light on Framestore’s most fascinating cast of characters: its people. Presented with a probing list of questions and a demandingly short deadline, this feature puts the hopes, dreams, and desktops of our MVPs on the digital wall, for all to see. Welcome to [FRAMED].
What are you guilty of?
Starting a new TV show that releases weekly episodes. The suspense is too much and I ask myself why I started to watch it before a whole season is released.
What was your last brush with danger?
I was locked inside a building on my own during the Pune lockdown.
Your worst character fault?
Asking too many questions.
Your most shining quality?
I’m friendly and nice to everyone.
If you had taken a different path, what would you be doing now?
I would grow my own crops.
You’re on the run from the law, where are you headed?
Some unknown island.
Who’s your partner-in-crime?
My older and younger sister.
What’s your favourite movie/TV show and why?
The Marvel franchise - There are so many super heroes in marvel movies with incredible different power. All those super heroes never give up which is one thing they have in common.
Your greatest achievement?
Hopefully, I’ll be able to achieve a lot more but for now it’s the fact that my name appeared in the credits for Midnight Sky.
Most valuable skill?
I’m a good listener and problem solver.
The DREAM project would entail:
I would love to work on any Marvel or DC movie.
This week I learnt that:
It’s very difficult to write about yourself.
What’s your current view?
My laptop screen.
What do you need to work, on the daily?
Good sleep, healthy food, and listening to the best quality of music.
Framestore is, to you, in three words:
Quality, creativity and family.
Best thing about your work environment?
I sit near a window.
Framestore is great at:
Giving new opportunities.
Favourite artform?
Definitely movies, I love action movies!
Favourite image?
An Indian flag painting.
Happiness looks like:
No disturbance, sitting on a bench next to the river, feeling the fresh air on my face and watching the sunset.
If not here, then where?
Having fun with my childhood friends in my home town.
What do you think of too often?
Which movie or cartoon I can watch again in my spare time.
And not enough?
I think about a lot… all the time.
Couldn’t live without:
Family, friends and my mobile.
If you ruled the world:
I don’t think I’m qualified to run the world but I would take care of every agriculturist. They’d never have to worry about money and only sell the best quality of grain.
Harsh Patel, you’ve been [FRAMED].
