What are you guilty of?

Opening a google meeting link early thinking, “I still got a few mins till that meeting starts, I’ll quickly do this before i join…”, getting engrossed with work and losing track of the time, then turning up 5 mins late to the meeting I was originally early for.

The worst. What was your last brush with danger?

I slipped in the shower. Shower came off worse.

Your last brush with greatness?

I dropped a glass on the floor, it didn’t smash.

Your worst character fault?

Currently it seems to be slipping and dropping things.

Your most shining quality?

I like making people coffee.

You’re on the run from the law, where are you headed?

I hear Mexico is lovely this time of year.

Who’s your partner-in-crime?

A chef….erm Rick Stein, he can cook for me.

Fantasy cellmate?

Andy Dufresne (everyone says that in their head like Morgan Freeman).

Your greatest achievement?

No idea…..Hopefully I still have more time to achieve it!

Most valuable skill?

Animation, it literally pays the mortgage.

Go on, say something bragging:

I won a Postman Pat colouring competition when I was 6.

Name your pet peeve?

People who whisper talk so quietly you have to practically stand on top of them to hear them.

The DREAM project would entail:

The right group of people working on a project they are inspired by regardless of what it is. Those are the jobs that always run the smoothest.

Your career highlight to date:

The first job I supervised and went on set for, The Terror.

This week I learned that:

Using two different pipes at once plays havoc with my muscle memory for hotkeys.

What’s your current view?

Window out the front of my house and it’s finally sunny!

It’s pretty basic, one monitor, iPad to run hangouts from, Wacom tablet, digi radio, post-it note block, pen, mini fan and lots of plants.

What do you need to work, on the daily?

Aeropress coffee to kick things off. Wacom, no network issues and animbot.

Framestore is, to you, in three words:

Live Love Laugh… jokes jokes, erm… for me I’d say its: Opportunity, Creativity, Success.

Best thing about your work environment? (at home?)

I can play my music loud without headphones, I don’t have to wear shoes and it’s always acceptable to wear sleeveless t shirts.

Framestore is great at:

Giving chances.

Favourite artform?

Animation is pretty good.

Favourite image?

I quite like Keith Haring’s dog. Simple but gets to the point.

Fictional character you’d like to hang with?

Steven Toast, a night out in soho with him would be a laugh.

Happiness looks like:

According to science, (t)=w0 +w1∑j=1tγt −jCRj +w2∑j=1tγt −jEVj +w3∑j=1tγt −jRPEj. Or, put in plain language, you should lower your expectations but not so low for so long that it makes you unhappy. Thanks science.

How are you staying inspired by working remotely?

Appreciating my 0 time commute and enjoying the extra hours in the evening.

How are you spending your weekends?

DIY, decorating, gardening, BBQs, baking, country walks, boxing and more DIY.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned about yourself during quarantine?

Thats deep, perhaps not the biggest, but I’ve learnt that I enjoy gardening a lot.
