[FRAMED] exists to shine light on Framestore’s most fascinating cast of characters: its people. Presented with a probing list of questions and a demandingly short deadline, this feature puts the hopes, dreams, and desktops of our MVPs on the digital wall, for all to see. Welcome to [FRAMED].

What are you guilty of?

Still not taking down my Christmas decorations, they make me happy!

What was your last brush with danger?

Anytime I attempt a walk through icy Montreal streets.

Laughing in uncomfortable situations.

Your most shining quality?

Being a good friend.

If you had taken a different path, what would you be doing now?

Bali or Fiji.

Who’s your partner-in-crime?

I’ve got a few that I will not name in case they need to hide me after said crime.

What’s your favourite movie/TV show and why?

I love Aaron Sorkin so West Wing and NewsRoom are up there. Also, anything Wes Anderson.

Your greatest achievement?

Finishing my Master’s degree while working a full time job.

Most valuable skill?

I could talk to a wall.

Go on, say something bragging:

I can knit the heck out of a baby hat.

Name your vice?

Really bad reality TV. I don’t care what you say, I love it!

The DREAM project would entail:

Something with Jason Momoa in it or Stormtroopers. Or Jason Momoa as a Stormtrooper.

Your career highlight to date:

Suicide Squad. We had an amazing team and I felt supported the whole way. It challenged me but made me better.

This week I learnt that:

I really love radish potato salad.

What’s your current view?

Wouldn’t be Montreal without the construction.

Give us a desk tour!

Facial mist, notepad and something to snack on usually. And my Toetoe lamp which was a present from friends when I left New Zealand.

What do you need to work, on the daily?

Coffee and a good pen for my to do list.

Framestore is, to you, in three words:

Supportive, Accessible, Collaborative.

Best thing about your work environment?

Since I’m WFH, I’d say being able to work in my yoga pants.

Framestore is great at:

Supporting their employees and creating amazing images.

Favourite artform?

I’m a born and raised New Yorker so I love Broadway and I particularly love musicals.

Favourite image?

I took this picture in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Fictional character you’d like to hang with?

Albus Dumbledore. Old Dumbledore though, not young.

Happiness looks like:

Road trips with friends and exploring new places.

If not here, then where?

Napa Valley wine tasting.

What do you think of too often?

Where I’m going first once we’re all travelling again.

And not enough?

Oh, I overthink everything haha.

Couldn’t live without:

Warm socks and comfy pyjamas.

If you ruled the world:

Arts Education would be mandatory!

Jennifer Ramos, you’ve been [FRAMED].
