[FRAMED] exists to shine light on Framestore’s most fascinating cast of characters: its people. Presented with a probing list of questions and a demandingly short deadline, this feature puts the hopes, dreams, and desktops of our MVPs on the digital wall, for all to see. Welcome to [FRAMED].

What are you guilty of?

I told my kid that Coca Cola and chocolate ice cream were spicy.

What was your last brush with danger?

I had my house renovated and forgot most of the floor plates had been taken out. I keep walking on the first floor and if I miss a step, I’m down on the ground floor within a second.

Your last brush with greatness?

I can’t believe that I have a kid at home, running out of control everyday, but I still feel very good!

Your worst character fault?

Nosey :)

Your most shining quality?

When I start something I really like, I’ll finish it no matter what — even if I don’t sleep at all.

If you had taken a different path, what would you be doing now?

I would travel the world every single day.

You’re on the run from the law, where are you headed?

Been there, done that…I’m in the UK :) But if I had to pick a place, it would be the Maldives (with wine).

Who’s your partner-in-crime?

My wife.

Fantasy cellmate?

Captain Steven Gerrard. Yes, I’m RED :)

What’s your favorite movie/TV show and why?

Star Wars, because they forced me to say it.

Your greatest achievement?

A good life.

Most valuable skill?

I never give up!

Go on, say something bragging:

I’ve played with bands on the same stage as NOFX.

Name your vice/pet peeve?

People who walk under the roof, with an umbrella, and don’t let you walk on the path when it’s raining.

The DREAM project would entail:

Harry Potter. 100% Harry Potter!

Your career highlight to date:

Just finished an awesome project called ‘Project Power’ for Netflix. And now, I’m leading on ‘The Suicide Squad’.

What’s your current view?

Lots of greenery from my window, and three sets of monitors in front of me : one for work, one for my PS4 and the other one for my PC.

Give us a desk tour:

A big Lego mug, two keyboards & a mouse, three monitors, PS4 with 7.1 headset, a super comfortable chair and a guitar.

What do you need to work, on the daily?

A bottle of milk for my baby.

Framestore is, to you, in three words:

It’s my home.

Best thing about your work environment?

My bed.

Framestore is great at:

Making things happen.

Favourite art form?

Drawings from baby.

Favourite image?

My baby tried to use his Lego toy to replace my toys.

Fictional character you’d like to hang with?

Super Mario.

Happiness looks like:

Sleeping all day.

If not here, then where?

Somewhere nice and warm, again, with wine please!

What do you think of too often?

Enjoying life :)

And not enough?

Rest.

Couldn’t live without:

Family and friends.

If you ruled the world:

It would be very terrible.

How are you staying inspired by working remotely?

Inviting my boy to join in on my meetings.

How are you spending your weekends?

Stay home, stay safe.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned about yourself during quarantine?

Cherish the people you love.

Jimmy Leung, you’ve been [FRAMED].
