[FRAMED] exists to shine light on Framestore’s most fascinating cast of characters: its people. Presented with a probing list of questions and a demandingly short deadline, this feature puts the hopes, dreams, and desktops of our MVPs on the digital wall, for all to see. Welcome to [FRAMED].

What are you guilty of?

I feel guilty when I go to store new shopping into my wardrobe just to realize there’s no more room left.

What was your last brush with danger?

I had a close encounter with a spider in my closet.

Your worst character fault?

My shyness.

Your most shining quality?

My patience.

If you had taken a different path, what would you be doing now?

Maybe I could have been a journalist - in fact during my studies at the Fine Arts Academy of Rome, I used to write film reviews for an online art magazine.

You’re on the run from the law, where are you headed?

Island of Favignana — Sicily.

Bellissima! You partner-in-crime?

My husband.

Your greatest achievement?

I was the first student to work on a thesis on stereoscopic cinema in Italy and then I started working in visual effects the day after my graduation session.

👏 Most valuable skill?

I’m good at looking the bright side in any situation.

Go on, say something bragging:

I can cook a very good lasagna.

Who doesn’t love a good lasagna! Name your pet peeve?

Those who speak loudly during a film screening.

AGREED. The DREAM project would entail:

I would like to work on a film based on a Stephen King book — he’s my favourite author.

Your career highlight to date:

Being part of the team on a visual effects academy award-winning film.

This week I learnt that:

There have been around forty missions to Mars and more than half failed - I just finished watching Netflix’s Away :)

What’s your current view?

My orchid and a glimpse of life in London from my window.

Give us a desk tour…

Monitor, tablet, keyboard, mouse, teradici, phone, earphones, lots of cables and nuke is always open.

What do you need to work, on the daily?

Coffee, notebook and cashews.

Framestore is, to you, in three words:

Passion, innovation, teamwork.

Best thing about your work environment? (at home!)

The lunch break at home.

Favourite art form?

Cinema and portrait painting.

Favourite image?

Girl with a Pearl Earring, Johannes Vermeer

Fictional character you’d like to hang with?

Sherlock Holmes.

What do you think of too often?

The future.

And not enough?

Holidays.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned about yourself during quarantine?

I can be happy even with the little everyday things.

If you ruled the world:

Creating more concrete projects to protect the environment.

Korinne Cammarano, you’ve been [FRAMED].
