[FRAMED] exists to shine light on Framestore’s most fascinating cast of characters: its people. Presented with a probing list of questions and a demandingly short deadline, this feature puts the hopes, dreams, and desktops of our MVPs on the digital wall, for all to see. Welcome to [FRAMED].

What are you guilty of?

I’ve always wanted to learn a dance form called Kathak since my childhood but somehow haven’t gotten the opportunity until now.

What was your last brush with danger?

The most difficult and dangerous time for me was when my mom was fighting cancer. But she fought against it like a warrior and is now recovering with a beautiful smile on her face.

Your last brush with greatness?

Once on Christmas Eve, my friends and I distributed chocolates to the homeless kids and their family members on the Mumbai streets — I still remember the happiness on their faces.

Your worst character fault?

It’s difficult for me to remember the names of the people I meet for the first time.

If you had taken a different path, what would you be doing now?

I would have chosen the path of fine arts.

You’re on the run from the law, where are you headed?

Norway under the beautiful Northern Lights.

Who’s your partner-in-crime?

My life partner Abhishek.

Fantasy cellmate?

Minions cause they will be fun to hang out with.

What’s your favourite movie/TV show and why?

FRIENDS — an all time favourite show of mine because no matter what mood I am in, it always makes me laugh.

Your greatest achievement?

The day I started earning and not being dependent on anyone financially.

Most valuable skill?

Positivity!

Go on, say something bragging:

I organise things well! I picked up this skill from my father as he always keeps his stuff neat and tidy.

Name your vice/pet peeve?

Horn honking.

The DREAM project would entail:

Making a self sustainable house.

Your career highlight to date:

Getting the opportunity to work on so many interesting projects. A few of my favourites are Avengers: Infinity War, Wonder Woman 1984, Fantastic Beast: The Secrets of Dumbledore, His Dark Materials Season 2 & 3 and so many more.

This week I learnt that:

I am not able to recall anything new about this week but I recently started learning Yoga.

Give us a desk tour!

Currently at my home work desk, I have a few small toys like a small elephant, a tiny glass sheep, cow and donkey, a Santa and sheep soft toy, a small wooden house with light (which casts a shadow of its window on the wall) and a small windmill toy (that’s fun to blow at and watch spin around)

What do you need to work on the daily?

Candies and chocolates.

Framestore is, to you, in three words:

Inspiration, opportunity and learning.

Best thing about your work environment?

To be working with a bunch of super awesome people — each one is inspiring and helpful in their own way. I also love our team lunches, office parties, small get-togethers and birthday celebrations that we have in our cafeteria. These are the moments we have a lot of fun together.

Framestore is great at:

Having a well-organised pipeline, work culture, and people.

Favourite artform?

Traditional 2D animation.

Favourite image?

Fictional character you’d like to hang with?

Iron Man.

Happiness looks like:

Watching kids with overloaded cuteness.

What do you think of too often?

I often think of a world where money doesn’t exist.

And not enough?

Cheese!

If you ruled the world:

I would make sure no one is deprived of basic necessities.

Monica Sharma, you’ve been [FRAMED].
