[FRAMED] exists to shine light on Framestore’s most fascinating cast of characters: its people. Presented with a probing list of questions and a demandingly short deadline, this feature puts the hopes, dreams, and desktops of our MVPs on the digital wall, for all to see. Welcome to [FRAMED].

What are you guilty of?
I’m a tiny bit addicted to TikTok (viewing, not participating).

What was your last brush with danger?
I frequently nearly die on the tennis court.

Your last brush with greatness?
I won my tennis match today — club summer competition, first round. Long way to go.

Your worst character fault?
Apparently, I can be a control ‘enthusiast’.

You’re on the run from the law, where are you headed?
Probably back home to Cornwall.

Who’s your partner-in-crime?
At the moment, my new puppy is never far from my side.

Most valuable skill?
I always try to see the best in people.

Go on, say something bragging:
I once spent the afternoon with Brian May in the old VFX2 in Noel Street, my former home.

Your career highlight to date:
The Crown — although I was also quite pleased with the Dr Who 50th Anniversary trailer.

This week I learnt that:
I received an Emmy nomination.

Give us a desk tour:
Laptop, tablet, couple of monitors, wacom, headphones, too many chargers, unopened mail, camera, whiskey, an Emmy, dog treats.

What do you need to work, on the daily?
Electricity, and lots of it. Coffee and overnight oats get me going in the morning!

Framestore is, to you, in three words:
Inspiring, fun, innovative.

Best thing about your work environment? (at home!)?
I don’t have to think about what time the next train is.

Favourite artform?
Photography.

Fictional character you’d like to hang with?
Bertie Wooster.

Happiness looks like:
Roaring fire, and some silence would be nice too.

If not here, then where?
By the sea.

What do you think of too often?
Cake.

And not enough?
Broccoli.

Couldn’t live without:
Water.

If you ruled the world:
Then we’d be in trouble!

Include a pic of your work station:

Ollie Bersey, you’ve been [FRAMED].
