[FRAMED] exists to shine light on Framestore’s most fascinating cast of characters: its people. Presented with a probing list of questions and a demandingly short deadline, this feature puts the hopes, dreams, and desktops of our MVPs on the digital wall, for all to see. Welcome to [FRAMED].

What are you guilty of?

I definitely snack too much.

What was your last brush with danger?

Hiking up Grand Teton Mountain. Some of the paths are narrow but the views are breathtaking.

Your last brush with greatness?

It was an intense project but I’d have to say developing and deploying the first production use cloud workstations at Framestore during the height of global microchip shortage. We had loads of work in and we were able to keep the wheels turning.

Your worst character fault?

I tend to overthink too much and find it hard to step away from a project until it is completed.

If you had taken a different path, what would you be doing now?

I believe in destiny. No matter what path I took I believe I would be right where I am now. I truly love what I do, and I don’t believe any other career path would be able to provide this level of happiness.

You’re on the run from the law, where are you headed?

Wyoming… I love being in the mountains.

Who’s your partner-in-crime?

It’s hard to choose just one, but my cousin Parma, he always got my back.

What’s your favourite movie/TV show and why?

Bloodsport (1988). Growing up my friends and I watched it so much we could watch it without the sound on and recite all the lines. I truly believe Jean-Claude Van Damme deserves an Oscar for it. Also, lets not forget Mean Girls…that movie is so fetch!

Your greatest achievement?

Marrying my wife, she’s most definitely my better half.

Most valuable skill?

Always seeing the glass half full.

Go on, say something bragging:

I beat Kevin in Monopoly 30 times in a row.

Name your vice?

Building too many custom mechanical keyboards.

The DREAM project would entail:

Working with the Notorious B34L Team. Those are my guys and we slay any project that comes our way.

Your career highlight to date:

I was recently promoted to “Cloud Engineer”. Those who work closely with me know I am fascinated by the cloud and cloud technologies. Becoming Framestore’s first Cloud Engineer, is truly a dream come true.

This week I learnt that:

South America is 8.2 times larger than Greenland.

What’s your current view?

I am surrounded by skyscrapers, it’s surreal.

Give us a desk tour!

Lenovo Thinkpad, 2k monitor, Mechanical keyboard and the most important..statue of Ganesha

What do you need to work, on the daily?

Black Coffee…and the internet of course.

Framestore is, to you, in three words:

Living the dream.

Best thing about your work environment?

The Engineers I am lucky to be surrounded by are truly amazing. It’s an honour to work with them.

Framestore is great at:

Most definitely career growth.

Favourite artform?

Paintings.

Favourite image?

Claude Monet, Reflections of Clouds on the Water-Lily Pond. I could sit and stare at this painting for hours.

Fictional character you’d like to hang with?

Brennan Huff and Dale Doback (Step Brothers). Why… two words ‘Prestige Worldwide’.

Happiness looks like:

Nice bowl of ramen from Ichiran.

If not here, then where?

I really like the Framestore Chicago office too. They have great hotdogs too!

What do you think of too often?

Snacks.

And not enough?

Salads.

Couldn’t live without:

My friends and family. I wouldn’t be me without them.

If you ruled the world:

I’d free all my sons, I love ’em love ’em baby.

Raymond Gumti, you’ve been [FRAMED].
