Your career highlight to date:
Creating the Digi Double of Kang (Primary Character) from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Who or what inspired you to pursue a career in VFX?
Fictional characters and fantasy films inspired me to be a part of this VFX world.
The DREAM project would entail:
Something epic like the Avatar film franchise that sets a new benchmark for high-quality visuals with the groundbreaking use of 3D technology and animation.
How do you explain what you do to someone who doesn’t work in VFX?
We create magnificent visuals for movies and series, that cannot be created in real life, using 3D software!
Describe your career journey into the exciting world of VFX.
I started my career in CG as I was always fascinated by 3D animated characters in movies and series. After some years I switched to the world of VFX which offered me a chance to work with some amazing studios like DNEG, MPC and Framestore who helped me develop my skills and knowledge as a 3D artist. It’s been an amazing journey so far as I have learned a lot during my downtime and enjoyed every phase of my career. I have been fortunate enough to do what I truly love!
What does the day in the life of a Texture Artist look like?
The day starts with a daily catch-up with the show’s Production Head and Supervisor, followed by checking and reviewing texture submissions, planning and working on the tasks for the day and attending show meetings.\

What’s your favourite movie/ series/ advert/ immersive experience and why?
The Lord of the Rings (film trilogy) is my favourite because it portrays a fantasy world created with the perfect mix of art and technology which is fictional yet so real and relatable. It has a beautiful story, screenplay, direction, music and mesmerising visuals.
What is the last piece of art (e.g. music, film, TV, writing etc.) that inspired you?
Avatar: The Way of Water and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3!
How do you unlock your creativity?
Gather new material and work over them in my mind — shaping and developing the ideas with my skills.
From where do you seek inspiration?
Good movies and artwork inspire me!
Who in the industry do you admire most and why?
Dennis Muren is the person I admire most in the industry because he was self-taught and his line of work is truly remarkable and inspiring. I have always loved his work and innovations as they have helped in achieving the impossible in the VFX World.

Pen Tablets.
What tech/innovation deserves the hype?
Claymation Animation.
What tech do you need that hasn’t been invented yet?
Real-time rendering in Mari software.
